I'm a sound designer, composer and a filmmaker.

 

There is something in earthy and raw sounds that tickles my being and has taken me to an endless exploration of organic sounds and acoustic instruments.

To me things like the mechanical sounds of an instrument, human performed dynamics and time-feel or the unique captured moment on the boom track translate the emotion like no other. Maybe it's the coincidental nature of life that makes these vibrant sounds relatable and as such meaningful in storytelling. Anyhow, embracing the performance makes me appreciate the philosophy of “getting it right at the source”.

I feel fortunate and privileged that sounds and music have taken me on road with a band, joining Ylioppilasteatteri, submitting a master's thesis to Aalto University ELO Film School Finland and working in productions of all shapes and sizes.
