The cozy space is built upstairs of the old "Työväentalo" located in Ylä-Malmi, Helsinki.
The studio is ideal for sound editing, sound design, music production, voice-over, dubbing and podcast recording.

Sweet spot is fully calibrated and a 5.1 pre-mix will translate nicely to the larger mixing stage.
Cassette 4-track recording
Special gem in the studio is the classic 4-track cassette mixer-recorder, Tascam Portastudio 464. Recording and mixing on 4-track is a very rewarding process. The process makes one commit quite intuitively on the takes and mixing decisions. Since there is no obsessive fine tuning, 4-track keeps the creative juices flowing!

I think this recording process and the warmth of magnetic tape suits perfectly the kind of music where being a spontaneous and imperfect human is part of the aesthetics.
